To Those at Home

· Topic: peace

You are not being sent to a people of obscure speech and difficult language, but to the house of Israel.

Ezekiel 3:5 (NIV)

God encourages Ezekiel: you are sent not to obscure-speech, difficult-language peoples but to Israel's nation. Peace in domestic calling. Ezekiel feared exile and strangers; God pointed home. Nearby missions are missions too. Prophets hesitate preaching to acquaintances; God insists. Those at home need most.

Obscure speech, difficult language: God spared Ezekiel linguistic barriers, never heart hardness. Israel would understand every word rejecting most. Peace preaching knowing rejection. Calling promises no results but presence. Ezekiel would preach to plugged ears with anointed mouths. Faithfulness measures obedience, never applause.

But to Israel: the divine but redirects. No distant foreigners but near brothers. Peace beginning home before crossing seas. Domestic witness precedes cross-cultural missions. Jerusalem before earth's ends. Whoever never preaches home is unready for strangers. Living rooms before squares.

Today, accept your at-home: family, colleagues, neighbors. Preach with life and word, no hardness excuses. Fulfilled-call peace surpasses scarce-fruit frustration. Today's Israel prepares tomorrow's nations. Speak clearly to near ones; God handles results.

And preach to near ones: domestic calls breed global peace. Preach to near ones today. Domestic calls breed. Start home. Love family. Bless neighbors. Bless neighbors and serve colleagues. Speak life. Shine bright.
