From the North Against Tyre

· Topic: peace

For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: From the north I am going to bring against Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses and chariots, with horsemen and a great army.

Ezekiel 26:7 (NIV)

God announces the instrument: from the north I will bring against Tyre Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, king of kings, with horses, chariots, horsemen, and great armies. Peace knowing judgment's winds. Proud merchant Tyre would see Babylonian sails horizonward. Commercial pride never withstands decrees.

King of kings serving the King of kings: God uses pagan empires as rods. Nebuchadnezzar, unknowing, fulfilled heaven's agenda. True peace discerns hands behind hands. Invasions frighten peoples but obey God. History is no chaos; it is provident choreography. Even wicked armies march divine compasses.

With horses and chariots and great armies: judgment arrives equipped. God never improvises sentences. Tyre fell in stages, siege after siege, until Alexander swept it seaward. Wise peace reads signs before sieges. Cities hearing prophets spare themselves; mocking ones sink. Hearing today prevents weeping tomorrow.

Today, examine your Tyres: pride fortresses, self-sufficiency vaults. Surrender before northern arrivals. Peace with God dismisses armies against you. Whoever humbles before the King of kings never fears kings of kings. Today's surrender cancels tomorrow's invasion.

And surrender in peace: surrendered Tyres are never invaded. Surrender in peace today. Surrendered Tyres stand. Humble yourself. Yield all. Bow low. Trust God. Rest safe.
