That We May Live
That we might live through him.
1 John 4:9 (NIV)
John reveals incarnation's purpose: God sent His Only Son into the world that we might live through Him. Living — never merely existing, surviving, entertaining. Sending the Only One so dead live: glorious exchange, delivered Sons, generated children. Divine purposes distill into abundant life for sinners.
Joy of living outruns survivors' laments. Life-through-Him carriers bear death-proof life: sickness, crises, grief turn commas, never periods. Living through Him rewrites daily verbs — loving over fearing, giving over keeping, singing over grumbling. Received life overflows into shared life.
Living through Him today: breathing grace, walking newness, loving measurelessly. That we may live: receiving life today, living it.
Truly living infect living-dead. Living intensely today. Deep breaths calm anxious hearts quickly. Breathe heaven today slowly. Inhale grace, exhale praise loudly. Lungs filled with Spirit sing. Singing lungs praise endlessly. Worship breathing continually. Worship breathing continually and deeply. Live breathless nevermore. Grace breaths sustain hectic lives constantly. Breathe heaven today, exhale gratitude. Spiritual lungs need divine air. Live breathing prayer ceaselessly. Walking dead lack celestial breath. Receive fresh breath every morning with faith.
And inviting others into life: convinced livers evangelize naturally. Invite someone today.
