Till Heavens Pass Away
So man lies down and does not rise.
Job 14:12 (NIV)
Job, sans resurrection revelation, concludes with somber logic: men lie down, never rising; till heavens pass, none awaken. Death as sleep sans waking — honest pessimism from one seeing past tombs. Job unknowingly prophesies: describing exactly what Christ would reverse. Till heavens pass — and they shall, trumpeted.
Christian trust reads Job resurrection in hand. What Job mourned as ends, we celebrate as intervals: sleeping in Christ, rising with Him. Paul turns unwaking sleep into alarmed celestial naps. Heavens shall pass — and that day, tombs open. Hope holds marked dates: the Lord's return.
Resting on such promises today: your dead in Christ sleep, never died; your future holds reunions, never farewells. Till heavens pass: sleeping today in waking hope.
Resurrection turns grief into intervals. Believing today, comforting others. Await bright dawns eagerly every single morning. Celestial alarm clocks never fail nor delay. Sleep today trusting final trumpet blasts. Tombs open by decree, never accident. Wake into resurrection mornings. Mourning turns dancing at trumpet sounds. Grieve hopefully today. Reunions await beyond horizons. Live resurrection-paced lives daily. Await dawns eagerly. Hope wakes sleepers.
And living resurrected already: eternal life starts pretomb.
