Mark, My Son

Peter closes his letter with greetings revealing discipleship: she who is in Babylon sends greetings, and so does my son Mark. Mark — the youth quitting in Pamphylia, once rejected by Paul — now Peter's “son,” approved missionary, future evangelist. Someone invested in the deserter, transforming him into a son. Restoring leadership writes Gospels through lives.

Leaders form sons, not mere followers. Barnabas sought Mark when Paul despaired; Peter adopted him as son; God deployed him to write the swiftest Gospel. Followers execute tasks; sons carry DNA. Leadership's test is never how many follow but how many succeed you — how many Marks mature in your shadow till walking solo. Investing in difficult people is the Kingdom's ROI.

Adopt your Mark today: the unstable youth, the complicated employee, the team's prodigal. Call him son, trust again, send with blessing. Mark, my son: two words turning quitters into evangelists.

Spiritual sons outgrow spiritual fathers — victory, never threat. Quitters become preachers in restoring hands. Adopt one difficult person today: call them child, trust again, send blessed. Successions prove leadership better than crowds ever could. Invest where others gave up completely. Grace restores what rejection discarded.
