Worthy Are You, Lord
You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power.
Revelation 4:11 (NIV)
The twenty-four elders cast crowns before the throne, singing: you are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they exist. All heaven agrees on one point: everything exists by him and for him. Crowns down, knees bent, voices joined — cosmic gratitude in purest form.
Our earthly thanks rehearses that scene. Thanking God for bread, health, deliverance means rehearsing with accent the elders' anthem. And the motive matches: because he made and sustains. Nothing you own is self-existent — air, bread, sleep, family, all “created and having being” by his will. Daily recognition drags the throne to the breakfast table.
Cast your crown today: thank before asking, acknowledge before complaining, worship before working. Worthy are you, Lord — three words reordering entire days. Rehearsals determine performances. Practice throne-room gratitude at kitchen tables: thank before meals, praise during chores, worship in traffic. Daily crowns cast down become eternal reflexes. Start mornings surrendered and evenings will find you peaceful. Heaven's anthem learned early sings forever. Whoever starts days at the throne ends them in peace, whatever the agenda.
