The Israelites did just what the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron.

Exodus 12:28 (NIV)

On liberation's eve, Israel did something extraordinary in simplicity: the Israelites did just what the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron. No committees, no amendments, no “buts.” They slaughtered the lamb, marked the doors, ate in haste — exactly as ordered. And at midnight, while Egypt wept, Israel marched free. Literal obedience produced total liberation.

Faith obeys before understanding everything. The Israelites grasped no blood-on-doorframe theology; they simply acted. How many blessings die in the waiting room of “once I understand”? God rarely explains first — he commands, we act, then we understand. Passover made full sense centuries later at the cross; but whoever obeyed that night ate free next morning. Understanding is good; obeying is better.

Execute today's pending order: forgive whom you must, drop what you must, start what you must — as the Lord commanded, unamended. Wait for no feeling, understanding, or applause. Just as the Lord commanded: four words that opened the Red Sea and still open seas today. Amendments delay miracles; obedience releases them. Israel marched because they acted exactly as told, no edits added. Execute your pending order today without negotiating terms. Literal obedience still parts waters that reasoning never moves.
