Palace Conspiracy
Amon's officials conspired against him and assassinated the king in his palace.
2 Kings 21:23 (NIV)
Amon's officials conspired assassinating him in palaces. Faith observing wicked ends. Amon reigned two idolatrous years, outdoing Manasseh in evil. Conspiracy reaped what rebellion sowed. Idol palaces become crime scenes. Whoever lives by ungodliness' sword falls by it.
Conspired against him: treason breeds treason. Amon betrayed God; servants betrayed Amon. Faith learns symmetry: measures return measured. Altarless palaces become dens. Human loyalty lasts where divine loyalty sustains. Godless, every throne shakes; fearless, every court conspires.
Assassinated in palaces: maximum security, zero protection. Guards, walls, protocols never secure judgments. Faith counts other escorts: angels, never lancers. Amon trusted palaces; Josiah his son would trust the Lord reforming everything. Generations choose inheritances: ruin or revival.
Today, examine your securities: positions, accounts, contacts. Palaces fall; presence remains. God-fearing faith sleeps calmly guardless. Serve integrally where conspirators circulate. Today's palace needs altars more than alarms. Fear, pray, remain.
And fear God: altared palaces resist plots. Fear God today. Altared palaces resist. Sleep calmly. Trust angels. Shun idols. Shun idols and serve purely. Pray often. Give thanks. Worship. Obey. Obey commands and keep statutes. Walk upright. Fear always. Abide. Remain. Remain faithful through trials. Stand firm. Shine bright.
