Shoulder Pieces of the Ephod

· Topic: peace

It is to have two shoulder pieces attached to two of its corners, so it can be fastened.

Exodus 28:7 (NIV)

The ephod would hold two shoulder pieces joined at edges binding it well. Peace dressing orderly. Priestly garments carried theology: beauty, glory, unity sewn. Shoulders joined ministry's front and back. Whole priests serve better than split priests. God dresses before sending.

Joined binding well: tied unity, never improvised. Ecclesial peace calls for firm knots. Loose shoulders drop ephods in service hours. Preventive tying prevents public accidents. Churches tying relationships, doctrine, purpose well sustain glory's weight untorn.

Two shoulders, two sides: past and future, mercy and truth, comfort and confrontation. Balanced peace carries symmetric weights. Single-sided shoulders tilt priests. Crooked ministries come from limping emphases. God distributes loads in pairs for columns walking straight.

Today, tie your shoulders: join prayer and action, faith and works, grace and truth. Review loose knots in alliances and convictions. Well-dressed peace faces evil days unfrayed. Today's ephod — character, family, ministry — needs heaven's stitching.

And tie well: firm shoulders sustain ministries. Tie well today. Firm shoulders sustain. Join prayer. Knot tight. Hold fast. Hold fast and unite hearts. Balance loads. Walk straight. Serve whole. Stay sewn. Stay sewn and serve wholly. Dress well. Minister truly.
