Brothers With Me
And all the brothers with me.
Galatians 1:2 (NIV)
Paul opens Galatians ringed by witnesses: and all brothers with me. Never writing solo — bringing brothers along in greetings, causes. Unpopular truths need courageous company: confronting errors with witnesses shields messengers. Unity in truth strengthens necessary rebukes.
Accompanied obedience sustains confrontations. Galatia needed hearing hardness about Gospels; Paul speaks flanked by brothers. Solo, we hush from fear; accompanied, we speak with firm love. Churches confronting together heal; isolated prophets bleed. Seeking company before confronting is wisdom, never cowardice.
Circling yourself before confronting today: praying with someone, going accompanied, speaking plurally. Brothers with me: hard truths need joined shoulders.
Joined shoulders uphold heavy staffs. Uniting today for correcting. Accompanied truths penetrate shut hearts. Bring witnesses today wisely. Planters sow solo; harvesters reap together. Multiply efforts jointly. Joint efforts multiply eternal fruits. Unite purposefully and lovingly. Shared loads weigh exact halves. Calling someone today for praying together. Shared struggles win faster. Victories in pairs glorify God. Celebrate accompanied, thanking jointly. Lonely tire; accompanied win.
And being brothers to someone: accompanying needy confronters lovingly. Brother someone today. Shoulders shared lighten loads. Walk together always and everywhere. Unite hearts daily. Walk on together.
