Lions Lurking
Like a great lion crouching in cover.
Psalms 17:12 (NIV)
David pictures pursuers with fear zoology: like hungry lions for prey, like strong lions crouched ambushing. Lurking enemies, held roars, calculated pounces. Persecution owns predatory patience: awaiting distractions, weariness, dark nights. Spiritual lions prowl routines.
Divine purposes use lions revealing Shepherds. David the ex-shepherd knew predators and Protectors: killing bears and lions, trusting hosts' Lord. Every lurking lion invites closer Shepherd-knowing. Eternal purposes turn ambushes into testimonies: lions' dens turn deliverance stages.
Naming your lions panic-free today: naming threats, surrendering fears, invoking Shepherds. Lions lurking: waking Shepherds guard sheep.
Faithful Shepherds never sleep on watch. Resting today guarded by Him. Guarded sheep graze calmly despite wolves. Graze today under watchful eyes. Armed Shepherds deter prowling predators. Rest ruminating Scripture daily. Ruminated truth nourishes deeply. Guarded sheep graze calmly despite wolves always. Graze gratefully and restfully. Celestial watchmen never doze nor distract. Sleep today under watchful eyes. Dangers prowl; Protections watch constantly. Rest fearless deeply. Surrendered fears turn tranquil dreams. Surrender fears, sleep peacefully.
And recounting afterward: defeated lions turn powerful sermons. Recount victories boldly. Slain lions encourage fearful sheep. Roar testimonies loudly. Fear flees telling always. Testify bravely. Roar on.
