So on the seventh day he rested.

Genesis 2:2 (NIV)

Genesis solemnly records the seventh day: God had finished His works, resting that day. Resting Omnipotence — never weary, complete. God needed no strength recovery; He established rhythm: work with endings, weeks with Sabbaths, lives with pauses. Divine rest is theology, never laziness.

Human rest imitates divine sans guilt. If God rested with everything left to run — sustaining universes — how much more we? Working seven days is no piety but disobedience to created rhythm. Sabbaths keep their keepers: families, health, souls. Resting declares worlds never depend on us — depending on Him, who never sleeps so we sleep.

Scheduling your rest today: muting notifications, strolling unhurried, sleeping guilt-free. God rested: imitating your Creator today, recharging.

Weekly rests prevent yearly collapses. Practicing today, lasting decades. Rest truly today. So rest deeply every single week starting today faithfully. Divine rhythms heal hurried human tempos. Adjust clocks today to eternal Sabbaths. Scheduled pauses prevent announced collapses. Rest weekly, last forever. Kept Sabbaths keep keepers holistically. Guard rest days fiercely. Health, family, soul replenish together. Worshipful rest restores completely always. Sabbath well weekly.

And sanctifying rest: sans God, breaks become escapes; with Him, feasts.
