The Easy and the Impossible
Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven'?
Matthew 9:5 (NIV)
Jesus corners scribes with divine logic: which is easier to say — “your sins are forgiven” or “rise and walk”? For men, forgiving is easy saying, impossible doing; healing is impossible saying and doing. Jesus did both in single sentences — proving invisible through visible. Miracles authenticate pardons: walking legs sign erased sins.
Pardon-trust comes from such authentication. Doubting God's forgiveness? Watching walking paralytics: power raising legs erased guilts. Pardon is no comforting theory but witnessed fact — walking lame, seeing blind, empty tombs. Whoever trusts visible miracles rests in invisible pardons.
Receiving both today: rising from sin, walking in newness. The easy and impossible: Jesus speaking both — fulfilling both.
Healed legs testify cleansed hearts. Walking today as forgiven people. Walk healed, whole and holy starting today. Received pardons generate distributed pardons naturally. Forgive today as fully forgiven. Heaven-cancelled debts cancel earthly ones. Walk light, lighten others. Walking healed testifies powerfully everywhere. Move as forgiven people daily. Lame legs preach louder than lips sometimes. Rise and walk visibly today. Forgiven walkers evangelize sitters effectively. Share miracles simply. Grace received must travel onward.
And recounting miracles: forgiven walkers evangelize sitters.
