Toward Beth Arabah
It continued to the northern slope of Beth Arabah and on down into the Arabah.
Joshua 18:18 (NIV)
Borders proceeded to Beth Arabah's northern slopes descending to Arabah. Faith recording boundaries gratefully. Boundary texts seem tedious; they are faithfulness certificates. Every marker drove fulfilled promises. God distributed lands as pledged to Moses. Geography became theology: maps tell miracles.
Continued to slopes: inheritances advance step by step. Faith conquers in stages, never leaps. Beth Arabah, desert's house, became tribes' address. God turns deserts into dwellings. Arid places with presence become homes. Today's Arabah may be tomorrow's inheritance. March marking.
And down: inheritances include descents. Not every advance climbs; valleys are inheritances too. Faith descends obeying as climbs believing. Arabah, deep depression, belonged to peoples. God gives fertile valleys to humble hearts. Descending with God outweighs climbing without Him. Holy topography includes lowlands.
Today, drive your markers: note fulfilled promises, celebrate stages, map faithfulness. Cartographer faith records remembering. Your Beth Arabah — projects, homes, ministries — deserves gratitude markers. Measure, mark, thank. Measured inheritances get enjoyed; forgotten ones get lost.
And mark inheriting: recorded inheritances become memorials. Mark inheriting today. Recorded inheritances stand. Map faithfulness. Count blessings. Name gifts. Name gifts and raise stones. Celebrate stages. Thank God. Remember. Record. Recall. Retain.
