The Lord Is My Banner

Moses built an altar and called it The Lord is my Banner.

Exodus 17:15 (NIV)

After beating Amalek, Moses built an altar calling it: the Lord is my Banner. Peace with memorial. Victories deserve altars, never mere reports. Banners declare who owns triumphs. Moses hoisted God's name over battlefields. Memorials prevent gratitude amnesia.

While Moses kept hands raised, Israel prevailed. Peace sustained by intercession. Aaron and Hur held tired arms until sunset. Battles win on two fronts: valleys with swords, mounts with prayers. Churches win when intercessors hold warriors' hands. Nobody fights alone in valleys.

The Lord is my Banner: identity before strategy. Armies march under standards; Israel marched under the Name. Peace of knowing for whom you fight. Wrong banners lead to wrong wars. Hoisting Jehovah-Nissi declares dependence harvesting victory. Name lifted, enemies fallen.

Today, raise your altar: mark victories memorially. Write, tell, celebrate, name. And lift hands in fresh battles: pray until sunset, call intercessors, hold firm. Today's banner waves over tomorrow's Amalek. Memorial peace sustains current war.

And hoist the banner: peace altars win wars. Hoist the banner today. Peace altars win. Raise memorials. Intercede daily. Hold arms. Win valleys. Win valleys and mounts. Pray till sunset. Hold firm. Stand strong. Prevail. March on.
