Consecrated Profit
Yet her profit and her earnings will be set apart for the Lord; they will not be stored up or hoarded. Her profits will go to those who live before the Lord, for abundant food and fine clothes.
Isaiah 23:18 (NIV)
God decrees Tyre's future: her profit and earnings will be set apart for the Lord, never stored nor hoarded. Memory of economic conversion. The market city would become the sanctuary's pantry. Ship profits would sustain those living in God's presence. God redeems even commercial balance sheets. No profit is too profane for consecration.
They will not be stored up or hoarded: consecrated wealth circulates, never accumulates. Tyre would learn retaining impoverishes and sharing enriches. Memory against greed: full vaults rust, open hands bloom. Consecrated profit feeds; hoarded profit suffocates. Kingdom economy runs on generosity, never interest rates.
To those living before the Lord, with abundant food and fine clothes: God clothes and feeds His own with converted profits. Memory of unlikely provision: pagan sailors sustaining priests. God uses Tyres to feed altars. Your provision may sail ships not yet docked. Wait gratefully.
Today, consecrate your profits: separate firstfruits before adding leftovers. Decide percentages with God, never fear. Consecrated profit multiplies in peace what retained profit corrodes in anxiety. Holy accounting starts at altars and ends at everyone's full table.
And consecrate profits: generous memories attract provisions. Consecrate profits today. Generosity attracts.
