I will destroy your high places.

Ezekiel 6:3 (NIV)

God orders Ezekiel preaching against mountains: bringing swords against you; destroying idolatrous high places. Prophecy against idolatrous geography — mountains, hills, valleys converted into pagan shrines. God tolerates no territorial competition: either mountains worship Him or lie razed. Divine holiness never negotiates with altars.

Generosity toward God topples competing altars. Hearts hold mountains — careers, pleasures, controls — daily-lit altarets. Today's Ezekiels preach inwardly: swords against altars, holy demolitions. Truly generous surrender entire mountains, never valleys: everything on altars, nothing in idolatrous pockets.

Pointing your sword today: naming one altar — habits, attachments, ambitions — toppling it. Against the high places: generosity demolishing for building.

Demolish today courageously, weeping afterward. Idol rubble becomes testimony material. Clear mountains for Kings to dwell. Dwellings prepared welcome divine inhabitation gladly. Empty thrones invite true Kings. Vacate usurped seats willingly. Crown him only and always. Yield fully. Rebuilt altars betray relapses subtly. Guard cleared mounts vigilantly. Maintenance matters as much as demolition. Watch prayerfully.

And watching rebuilds: demolished altars attempt comeback renovations. Guarding mountains.
